Sweetwood Smokehouse Converges on CSCCa as First Meat Snack Exhibitor

May 5, 2016 –– Sweetwood Smokehouse’s array of meat snacks are quickly becoming one of the most popular, healthy and tasty jerky companies on the market. Runners, bikers and ultra athletes alike are turning to meat snacks as their energy fuel of choice. With increased protein content and provided sustained energy, it only makes sense that we take our snacks to the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches association(CSCCa) annual gathering.

On May 4-6 in Fort Worth, Texas, national strength and conditioning coaches from high schools, colleges and universities, and even professional sports teams will come together to discuss the latest trends, techniques and advancements concerning all things strength and conditioning. The conference will include keynote speakers, panel discussions and on-hand teaching sessions. The exhibit hall will feature everything from training equipment to recovery drinks and everything in between. Sweetwood will be on hand to share our All Natural, Fatty and Bully lines of meat snacks.

The Sweetwood team strives to use the finest ingredients to produce small-batch, handcrafted, classic recipes that taste great and are good for you, your family and friends. The focus on minimal and natural ingredients, basic flavor varieties and one-word product names is a reflection of Sweetwood’s simple way of life. From team meetings around a campfire to recycling and vegetable gardening at our headquarters, the culture of our small-town company is as authentic as the western town we live in.

In 2013 our Classic Original Jerky won the coveted Backpacker magazine Editor’s Choice Award. We’ve since been featured in Freeskier and Men’s Health magazines. In addition, we were the first meat snack company to join Outdoor Retailer, Interbike and The Running Event.
